In Loving Memory: Dr. Wayne Dyer
Those of you who actively follow the metaphysical/Self-Help realm will probably already know of the sudden passing of Dr. Wayne W. Dyer. Wayne Dyer had a profound influence on me and my thinking over the years. When I first saw his PBS special on the power of intention, I was deeply moved. He had a wonderful grasp of our place in the universe and he felt compelled to share his insights.
One of the more accessible works he did was a movie called The Shift. It’s a fictional work that relates important insights on our role in creating our reality and availing ourselves to abundance. He loved the movie and wanted as many people to see it as possible.
Hay House is making the movie available to view for free for the duration of September 2015. If you haven’t seen it yet, I highly recommend it. If you have seen it, it may be worth revisiting for a refresher. I’ve seen it a number of times and it is always a highly moving experience for me. You can see the movie here:

One of the most profound things for me about his passing was that he’d been diagnosed with leukaemia in 2009, around the time that this film was released. Following the diagnosis, Dyer went even deeper into his spiritual studies. He eventually managed to clear his body of the cancer without having taken any drugs for the malady. With such a profound example of self-healing, I was surprised, therefore, that he suddenly passed away from a heart attack on August 29th. The dichotomy is striking.
I’ll be revisiting his words and works over the coming months and years. Dr. Dyer may be gone in physical form, but his truth lives on and will change the lives of many who dare turn their gaze inward.
Much love to you all,
trane
